At its core, alboz. (a little bit of zen.) is driven by a passion for customer experience (CX) — specifically, for elevating it for as many customers as possible. We do this primarily by implementing Zendesk solutions for SMBs, mid-market organizations, and non-profits.
alboz. (stylised in lowercase with a full stop) began as an independent venture by Ross Whitney, inspired by a passion for exceptional customer service and how Zendesk enables it for thousands of companies, large and small, around the world.
Ross first worked in customer-facing roles for IBM in 1996 as a technical support specialist. Since then he has held dozens of roles, including Director level, building and leading customer success, support and operations teams until 2024.

alboz.is born.
At that point, he set out on a mission to positively impact a wider range of small businesses, medium-sized companies, startups, and non-profits by offering affordable professional services focused on helping them unlock the potential of their customer experience teams.
Among many other achievements, Ross is a certified Zendesk expert. In July 2024, Zendesk recognised alboz. as an official advanced level partner.

Strong ethical values have always been at my core throughout my long career. These values transfer with pride to a little bit of ZEN.
Honesty
Writing premium content is hard. It depends not only on the author’s experience and ability to write well but on the vast number of resources available to fact-check, compliment, grammar check, and demonstrate the topic being written about.
a little bit of ZEN. is no different. All content is created from scratch, is original and to the best of our knowledge truthful, transparent, and respectful of any intellectual property.
Integrity
We have amazing clients and are delivering exciting Zendesk projects for them.
We carefully ensure that the information presented on this site is not in conflict with those projects and clients.
The information shared on the site is never created for those projects but rather created before the projects by a little bit of ZEN. and, if beneficial and suitable, may be used on the projects later.
Environment
The world around us has always been and, remains to be extremely important to me personally.
Whilst not formally realised yet, a plan is in place to ensure two key environmental impact actions are taken:
1) Ensure an excellent ESG rating
2) Donate a % of annual profits to ethical environmental causes
We expect these to both be addressed in 2026.
